Journalist. Podcaster.
I’m an endlessly curious writer, editor, and producer with a background in audio and print. After years reporting on business and women’s lives at work, I now focus on stories about aging and longevity. I cover everything from healthcare to our attitudes to aging, to how we preserve our digital lives for our descendants.
I started my career in public radio, doing a lot of economic and personal finance stories for Marketplace. I went on to create The Broad Experience podcast on women and work, which I reported, edited, and hosted for more than a decade. The Economist, the Financial Times and the Guardian all praised the show during its long run.
I was a Columbia University Age Boom Academy fellow in 2023, and a Journalists in Aging fellow with the Gerontological Society of America in 2024 and 2025.
I aim for thoughtful, nuanced storytelling in a world that sees everything in black and white.

The Broad Experience
The Broad Experience was one of the first podcasts to take on the subject of women and the workplace. I started it in 2012 with encouragement from two CUNY professors, and could never have predicted it would continue for the next ten years.
Let’s Find Common Ground
Polarization dominates our public discourse, but we’re not always as far apart as we think. A lot of people, from politicians to family members, want to work together for the common good.
